BREEDERS OBSERVATIONS

A Wool sire at Illawarra. Shows exceptional softness and crimp definition.  His progeny are stamped with the same exceptional wool quality.

A full brother to the leading sire, Illawarra Yucatan, Zorba has been used in a lot more matings at Illawarra over the last few years. And like Yucatan and Yohimbine, he throws great fleece consistency for softness, lustre and crimp definition.  A remarkable feature of all of these sires has been that they, and their progeny, grow non-sweaty fleeces (suint free wools), even under the wet and humid summer conditions that prevail in the coastal environment where the Illawarra herd is located.
