BREEDERS OBSERVATIONS

Dr. Jim Watts says:

"This male caught my eye as a 12 months old at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney, Australia two years ago. He was well ahead of anything I saw on that occasion for body growth, frame and structure.

He also had easily the best testicular growth for alpacas I saw then and have seen since. This trait is so important. It signals high fertility and high cria survival.

Towarri Artic Star is a classic Frame herdsire. I am keen to include him in alpaca breeding programs in different alpaca herds to capture the environmental fitness he appears to offer. "
