Breeders Observations:

Glenhope Chester is a well framed male with a very soft feel to his fleece. His sire, Marriglen Delta is a son of Accoyo Challenger that has made a significant impact with his progeny. His dam has an excellent frame which she has passed on to Chester. He has skined tested very well showing very high fibre density with no very coarse primary fibres. This is very encouraging for our breeding program as we work to reduce the fibre diameter of the primaries. Chester was an early maturer and is a certified working male with his first progeny on the ground that are showing excellent potential. Chester won Champion fleece in the Adult class (30 - 48 months) at the 2010 New England Alpaca Show.

Observations of Dr Jim Watts:

Very high fibre density and moderate fibre length. Fine and uniform primary fibres. Good frame. Chester would be a suitable male for smaller females who have a soft handle to their fleece and exhibit good length.
